MerchantBridge Advisors / For ISOs & agents
High-risk merchant placement for ISOs and agents
Your merchant opportunity does not have to end where your current acquiring options do.
When an RUO peptide seller, complex e-commerce business or another high-risk CNP merchant falls outside your available channels, MerchantBridge Advisors can help you explore additional payment-partner options. Start with a conversation about the business and what you need to place it.
A merchant opportunity or a broader partnership question. No full application needed to start.

You have the inquiry. You need another processing conversation.
An independent sales organization may have strong relationships for its core merchant base and still encounter a category its current partners will not consider. A sales agent may understand the merchant's business but lack a suitable acquiring contact. Neither situation is the same as knowing that no option exists.
MerchantBridge provides an additional review point for those opportunities. We look at the business model, website, geography and processing objectives, then explore whether our relationships may offer a relevant next step. Those relationships include full-risk ISO channels, acquiring-bank relationships and international acquiring options.
The value is a better-informed referral discussion: which facts matter, what needs clarification, and whether a payment partner may be worth approaching. It is not a guarantee of acceptance or a request to send the same application everywhere.
A useful next step for your hard-to-place opportunities
Category-specific review
Bring the actual business, not just a high-risk label. A research-product seller, a licensed clinic, a cosmetic brand and a software platform can require very different questions even when they all take payments online.
Additional acquiring relationships to explore
Discuss opportunities outside the appetite of your current channels. We can review domestic and international considerations around the merchant profile, without assuming that any particular provider or jurisdiction will accept it.
A clearer brief before the next introduction
Identify the information that may help a partner understand the opportunity: how the merchant earns revenue, who buys, how the order is fulfilled and what payment arrangement is needed. Keep the description accurate rather than changing the category to suit an application.
Start with a specific referral or discuss your pipeline
For one merchant, give us a short overview of the category, operating country, customer markets and approximate monthly volume, if known. Explain what is missing from the current payment arrangement or why your available channels cannot accommodate the business. A prior decline is not required.
For a broader relationship, tell us what kinds of businesses regularly approach your firm and what payment capabilities you are looking to add to the conversation. There is no need to submit an entire merchant portfolio to make that first inquiry.
Use your own name, firm and email in the ISO inquiry. You do not need to enter a merchant's email or send them through an application before we have discussed the opportunity. Share third-party information only with appropriate permission, and keep sensitive documents out of the initial message.
Merchant categories worth discussing
- RUO peptides and research products: review the actual catalog, positioning and customer base, not the RUO label alone.
- Research chemical sellers: clarify product categories and sales practices before considering an introduction.
- High-risk CNP, e-commerce and supplements: discuss the product, billing, fulfillment and processing needs.
- Licensed clinics and telehealth: primarily US opportunities, reviewed separately from research-product sales; no patient records.
- Licensed online gaming: discuss licensing context and permitted markets without assuming jurisdictional coverage.
- Skincare and cosmetics: finished consumer products, including serums and topicals, are distinct from research materials and clinical services.
- AI-built businesses and SaaS: review the actual software, customers and billing model; AI-assisted development alone does not determine risk.
Global merchant and international acquiring needs can arise across these categories. ACH/eCheck, recurring payments and settlement preferences are separate requirements to discuss, not promised capabilities.
Agree the referral approach before introducing the merchant
A productive relationship needs clear expectations. Before an introduction, discuss who will communicate with the merchant, what information can be shared, how updates should be handled and what any commercial arrangement would cover.
Partnership terms vary by opportunity. Discuss referral compensation, confidentiality, relationship protection and any particular servicing requirements case by case, and put applicable terms in writing. MerchantBridge's advisory and referral role does not replace the payment partner's underwriting or the merchant's agreement with that partner.
Questions from ISOs and agents
Can an ISO refer an RUO peptide merchant?
You can start a discussion about an RUO peptide or research-product merchant that your existing channels cannot accommodate. Describe the actual product category, operating geography and payment needs. An RUO label alone does not establish eligibility, and we do not promise that every referral will have an available processing option.
Do I need to submit a full merchant application first?
No. Start with your own contact details and a brief overview. You can discuss a category or potential referral without sharing the merchant's contact information. We can then clarify what further information would be useful and how an introduction should be handled.
Can I ask about an ongoing referral relationship rather than one merchant?
Yes. Choose partnership information in the inquiry form and describe the types of merchants you encounter. That gives us a starting point for discussing whether our payment-partner relationships may be relevant to your referral activity.
How are compensation and the merchant relationship handled?
Partnership terms vary by opportunity and are discussed case by case. Before making an introduction, clarify any referral compensation, communication responsibilities, confidentiality and relationship-protection provisions. Applicable terms should be agreed in writing rather than assumed from a standard package.
Do you work with international merchant opportunities?
We work with global merchants and relationships that include international acquiring channels. The merchant's location, customer markets, product category and settlement needs all matter. We do not assume every country, currency or business model is supported, or that an international route removes underwriting requirements.
Are you the processor or acquiring bank?
No. MerchantBridge is a payments advisory and referral business. We help review the opportunity and explore relevant payment-partner options. The payment partner determines eligibility, approval, pricing, reserves, settlement and onboarding requirements.
Have a merchant opportunity you want to explore?
Tell us about your firm and the businesses you would like help placing. We can start with the opportunity, discuss relevant options and clarify the next step before a merchant introduction.
Not an ISO or sales agent? Our general referral information is also available for consultants, agencies and other partners. Merchants applying for their own businesses can request a processing review.
